Will the INSTANT-OFF fit my faucet?
Yes. If your faucet has an aerator then INSTANT-OFF will be able to be installed onto your
faucet.
How do I install the INSTANT-OFF?
First, unscrew aerator. You may need to use a set of pliers to remove the aerator. Once the
aerator is removed, let the water run for 30 seconds to clean out particles that may be trapped
in the faucet.
Put your finger carefully into the end of the faucet and remove any old washers. Determine if
the faucet is internally or externally threaded.
If the faucet is internally threaded (you can't see the threads), then remove the INSTANT-OFF
from the package and make sure the washer is on top of the adapter, then screw it in tightly. If
the threads on the faucet are visible then they are referred to as external threads. In this case,
unscrew the adapter at the top of the INSTANT-OFF to prepare the INSTANT-OFF to screw onto
an externally threaded faucet. Do not use the adapter. Around 5% of the faucets in the United
States require different size adapters. If the INSTANT-OFF does not fit, then take the INSTANT-
OFF and your aerator to any Home depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware or True Value Hardware store.
They stock various size adapters in their plumbing department. Purchase the right size adapter
and screw it onto the top of the INSTANT-OFF, then screw the INSTANT-OFF into the faucet.
